You are a naturalist.
'Meaning is found in the natural laws and orderliness of the physical universe.'
Somehow we’ve been led to believe that if anyone knows anything for sure, it’s
the scientists. We think that if it can’t be verified using empirical methods, we can’t trust it. Even if we believe in God, we assume that He too is subject to the
scientific laws that we have devised to try to explain this world we live in.

But, who says? What if in reality science has become the new religion of the masses, and scientists the new priests?
And let’s face it. It’s mainly just us in the minority ‘western world’ who really think that naturalism is an easy pill to swallow.!

The world is the way it is because God has created it, and because He is constantly caring for it. Science is only possible because God is the God of order, not chaos. So meaning is intensely personal, because it comes from a Person.

‘...in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom he made the world. He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power.'
(The letter to Hebrew Christians, 1:2-3)

‘Aren't two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father's will.’
(Jesus in Matthew, 10:29)
