You are an existentialist.
'Meaning is found through understanding and interpreting the experiences we have'

Our experiences are pretty hard to deny. And the fact that experiences shape who we are is undeniable. But there are also times when we come face to face with a statement of fact that makes us have to revisit and reinterpret our
experiences. We have to admit that basing meaning just on experience will create a life full of uncertainties, confusion and selfishness!
Maybe existentialism is less of a quest for truth than it is a cop-out from facing some of the hard realities of life and this world in which we live?

Truth is revealed to us by God through revelation, primarily in words, which enables us to understand our experiences. This truth is shown clearly in and through Jesus as described in the Bible.

Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
- John's Gospel, 8:31-32
